7:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Club Roma, Anziani Room
The NIA Board of Directors formally invites you to our upcoming Industrialist Breakfast.
This session will give an opportunity for manufacturers/industrial companies to network directly with one another without the presence of service members.
An important part of the session will be a keynote address from our Chair Aaron Tisdelle who will provide an update on the Association.
There will be an open forum discussion with companies in attendance to gain feedback on what things you’d like to see in future from the board and ways that we can work on maximizing your value from membership. The discussion will be the opportunity to bring forward challenges and successes you have had over the past year and moving forward.
We are pleased to have Dan Millar from Benefit Partners along with Judy Plotkin from People Corp. attending to speak on Mental Health in the workplace.
Mental illness costs Canadian employers approximately $20 billion annually. Judy Plotkin from People Corporation will be presenting up to date statistics and research into the impact of mental illness in Canadian organizations. Judy will review common misconceptions and the impact of stigma on our employees. Finally, Judy will present a unique solution to mitigate the impact of mental illness on organizational functioning. This solutions is proprietary and available to all NIA members through Benefit Partners. Valued NIA clients of Benefits Partners Inc. will receive a special offer.
We are pleased to have Dave Peters, Absolute Change Management as our second speaker.

Dave and Barb Peters will be speaking and facilitating exercises on:

- Are your people lined up in the right direction? Have you given all the tools they need for success?
