The Niagara Industrial Association put forth a delegation to regional council at a recent budget review meeting. One of the items on the list of budget cut areas for the region was with respect to the Industrial Development Charge Incentive Grant Program. The motion would have seen this grant cut from 100% to 50%.
We successful advocated to keep the program at 100% for industrial expansions.
