The Niagara Industrial Association is pleased to report that a potential re-zoning application (industrial to residential) has been denied. The Stanley Ave. Business Park in Niagara Falls was the area under threat of being re-zoned for residential development, which would severely limit existing manufacturing operations. This ruling confirms the protection and growth of the park with a viable truck route to highway access.
The NIA was a key voice at the table in the lengthy tribunal review, advocating in support of protecting these lands for industrial use only.
